This past Monday night, the highly anticipated show, "Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party," premiered on VH1 with a special one-hour program. Potluck Party is a cooking, game, and talk show all wrapped up into one. The basis of the show is a cooking competition between Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg. This week, they were competing to see who could make the best fried chicken.

This was essentially a battle between the hood and Hollywood. However, they didn’t cook alone. They called in some special guests who acted as their sous chefs. Seth Rogan assisted Snoop, while Wiz Khalifa helped out Martha by adding some of his secret ingredients to her recipe. Can you guess what it was?

Before they started frying, Snoop mixed up some drinks for all to enjoy. He called his concoction "The Laid Back," and it consisted of Tanqueray 10, apple Ciroc, pineapple juice, and club soda as a topper. After everyone was comfortable and buzzed in more than one way, it was time to start the competition.

Martha Stewart began her recipe by soaking her chicken in brine to flush out its impurities. She followed that up by giving her chicken a buttermilk bath with a kick of cayenne pepper and Tabasco sauce. Snoop took a different approach and chopped up his chicken into smaller pieces, then coated them in lemon pepper, honey mustard, and surprisingly BBQ potato chips.

They both then proceeded to fry up their chicken. Snoop eyed the frying time while donning bejeweled goggles. On the opposite side of the kitchen, Martha took a more professional route and measured the temperature of her wings with a meat thermometer. Once everything reached the point of golden brown and tender, it was time for everyone to sit down, taste, and choose a winner.

Before they dug in, another surprise guest joined the crew, Ice Cube. The five played two lies and a truth upgraded to two thighs and a truth to fit the night’s fried chicken theme. Through the game, we found out these little known facts about the stars: Martha has been struck by lightening three times, Wiz Khalifa was born in North Dakota, Snoop’s best subject in high school was calculus, Seth auditioned to play Dwight in The Office, and Ice Cube went to architectural drafting school.

After the games were over, it was time to get down to the hard decision of who made the best fried chicken. Wiz, who was on Martha’s team, chose her as the winner. Seth went with Snoop, while Ice Cube couldn’t decide which to choose. The competition ended in a disappointing tie, but the rest of the show was so entertaining that the results ended up being minor.

After the results were in, another surprise came to the show in the form of a musical guest, Anderson Paak, who’s collaborated with artists like Schoolboy Q. Next week, the guests include model Ashley Graham and rapper Rick Ross. So be sure to tune in Mondays at 10 pm on VH1 to not miss out on all the debauchery on "Martha and Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party."
